Feldenkrais Training Programs

Our Feldenkrais training programs are a unique certification process. It is an opportunity for both professional learning and personal growth. One of the great characteristics of this training is the necessity for the learner to be personally and intimately involved. One cannot learn or teach theFeldenkrais Method without the process of self-exploration. 

Feldenkrais® trainings are complementary to Health Professionals, Performing Artists, Martial Artists, Educators and many other individuals looking for a Holistic and Alternative Approach to a first or second career.

Candidates for our Training Programs

Our programs are designed for a full range of students from all professions and walks of life. Many of our students are already working in domains where movement and learning are involved, including the fields of health, the arts, education or physical activity. We consider all applications from candidates including those who are in transition towards a new profession. Most importantly, we look for people who are passionate about learning and seek a high level of personal and professional development. 

Experience with the Feldenkrais Method: It is suggested that candidates for this program experience the Feldenkrais Method before the beginning of the training. 

Trainees shall be accepted into the Feldenkrais Professional training Program regardless of their race, gender, religion, physical limitations, age or sexual orientation, provided they fulfill the other requirements in the application process.

Certification and Accreditation 

Our training programs follow international guidelines and are accredited by the North American Training and Accreditation Board (NATAB) and approved by the Feldenkrais Guild® of North America. (FGNA). In certain states, or countries, professional practice may be subject to licensing laws limiting their professional practice unless the graduate has (a) certain license(s). NeitherAwareness Through Movement® nor Functional Integration® lessons may be taught professionally until the teacher has graduated from an accredited training program. Interim authorization as an Awareness Through Movement teacher is a student teaching position, subject to completing all graduation requirements. Read more about certification and accreditation.
